Nils founded Marstrand Innovation in 2000. Nils is responsible for strategic alliances, sales, marketing and product strategy.
Better planning of logistics and supply chains has been his preoccupation in most of his professional life. He has been engaged in the development of planning, simulation and decision support systems for more than 30 years.
Prior to founding MI, Nils has had line experience as production manager and other positions in A. P. Møller Maersk, been a partner in the (former, now IBM) consulting company Peter Matthiesen A/S for 16 years, the founder and managing director of PMSIM Systems A/S, see above. Nils has a big network within industry, services, ERP software companies etc. He was editor of the magazine Effektivitet for more than 10 years and still do interviews with top management in the biggest manufacturing companies.
Nils is a member of Copenhagen Business Angels and has a number of investments mainly in the IT sector.
Nils holds a Master of Science degree from Technical University of Denmark, specialized in Operations Research and mathematical optimization. He holds a MBA degree from INSEAD.

Computer science has always been his passion, and he has been working with computers every day since he got a Commodore VIC-20 back in the start of the 1980’s.
Prior to joining MI, Bonde worked as software developer and development manager at PMSIM Systems (product: PMSIM), in 1998 acquired by Intentia (products: Movex Advanced Production Planner & Movex Multi-Site Planner) and now Lawson. PMSIM/Movex APP is one of the worlds most used and best simulation tools for complex production planning. It’s capable of scheduling in just few seconds, huge number of orders/operations on many resources, taking finite capacity and complex constraints into account. Bonde has been responsible for the material synchronization, theory of constraint planning, sequence optimization and advanced planning for specific industry verticals with focus on the process industry: food & beverage, chemical and fashion.
Bonde holds a Master of Science degree from Technical University of Denmark.
